Shenzhen, China - Over 3000 submissions from more than 20 countries. 11 categories and 140 shortlisted projects. The 14th Modern Decoration International Media Awards 2016 of China are massive. We are very proud to have been awarded with an Annual Exhibition Space Award for 'nest', family experience for Nestlé.

After being featured in the October 2016 issue of Modern Decoration magazine Tinker imagineers was shortlisted in the category Exhibition Space with 12 other projects. In the end Tinker got most votes of the jury of experts. 

The Modern Decoration International Media Awards are founded at 2003. Over the years it has become an important benchmark for  global design standards and future trends. 

Tinker has created the family experience nest with an exhibition area of 3500 m2 located in Vevey, Switzerland, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Nestlé. Right where Henri Nestlé established his first factory in 1866 near Lake Geneva. 

Visitors will receive an interactive and personal look behind the scenes, embarking on an entrepreneurial journey through the past, present and future across five different zones. Ranging from a timed experience based on 19th century film techniques to a forum space with explorations on the global challenges in mass food production. An absolute eye-catcher is the flowing world Tinker designed underneath the glass roof. This light open space is fully dedicated to playful innovation.
