my pension?!

your money is indeed your life

Pensions: for many people a very far-fetched notion. All the more so for young people. The brand new Geldmuseum (Money museum) in Utrecht wants to do something to change this, with its exhibition Geld voor later (Money for later). Tinker was posed the following challenge: make pensions more tangible to people.

We all think about money, our own money. How much do you spend? What do things cost? How much do you earn? And with how much do you actually end up at the end of the day? Money is an essential variable in our lives. Not everyone attaches the same importance to it, but a life without money is hard to imagine. Money for Later was constructed as a (sometimes quite complex) life path. Along the way you are confronted with big and small choices and the temptations that life throws at you. This exhibition takes you back in time and forward into the future via pitfalls, complex junctions and pension gaps. When you reach the age of 65 you will be presented with the bill.
